The girls have been playing with their current toys for a while and finally able to stack, sort and put things where they are supposed to go. We bought them a cool set of blocks and they go crazy when we open the box every morning. Below is one of their first creations – just kidding.
We found a little toy store in the Tanglin mall that sells tons of wood toys, most of them are cool, but certainly more expansive then the plastic ones…
Why sit on the floor when the couch is so comfortable.
We have a box full of books, and we open it once or twice a day. The girls spend the next 20 minutes ripping all the books out of the box and making a mess on the floor. Then they hand their favourite to mom for her to read 5 times in a row.
We are doing our best to limit the girls watching TV, but sometimes it is the best babysitter. There are a few shows they absolutely love, Hi-5 is one of them. Its an Australian kids variety show that is mildly annoying to anyone over 5 years old, but the girls just love it.
In other news, the girls got new bathing suits prior to heading to Thailand. Here they are trying them out in the swimming pool. Mom loves them since they cover most of their bodies from the sun.
The second the TV comes on, everything stops in this house.
When they are not watching TV, they are running around torturing the dogs. Since Inu is losing his sight, he easily gets scared and runs away from Kristin. That doesn’t stop her though.
Its tough work sometimes, but someone has to do it.
It’s funny how the girls would only stay in the bouncers for a short period of time before they got bored and started screaming, now its different. Kaitlin loves having a seat and watching TV, Kristin still wants to climb all over it.
The girls love hanging out in their birthday suits, but of course we keep diapers on them. Kaitlin has peed on me and the floor more then once while she is fully naked, so we are extremely cautious.
The girls love their Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
Up close and personal
Finally drinking some juice. Kristin almost never drinks anything but milk, so its a struggle to keep her hydrated. A little Isotonic mix and she will drink it all, but we are trying to limit the sugar.
Kung Fu Kaitlin
Almost looks a bit like Jack Nicholson from “The Shining”
