The girls have been playing with their current toys for a while and finally able to stack, sort and put things where they are supposed to go. We bought them a cool set of blocks and they go crazy when we open the box every morning. Below is one of their first creations – just kidding.
We found a little toy store in the Tanglin mall that sells tons of wood toys, most of them are cool, but certainly more expansive then the plastic ones…
Why sit on the floor when the couch is so comfortable.
We have a box full of books, and we open it once or twice a day. The girls spend the next 20 minutes ripping all the books out of the box and making a mess on the floor. Then they hand their favourite to mom for her to read 5 times in a row.
Here we are at the Royce gym in Liang Court. This one is on the more expensive side, however there are a ton of things to do in here. Lot’s of choices from toys, slides, ball pits, swings, etc. Even a roller coaster for toddlers. The best part is the location, since we are in Liang Court on a regular basis for food shopping, it makes sense to stop by.
The girls were not happy on these swings, we will have to work on that.
Kristin having a great time driving her green car around.
We are doing our best to limit the girls watching TV, but sometimes it is the best babysitter. There are a few shows they absolutely love, Hi-5 is one of them. Its an Australian kids variety show that is mildly annoying to anyone over 5 years old, but the girls just love it.
In other news, the girls got new bathing suits prior to heading to Thailand. Here they are trying them out in the swimming pool. Mom loves them since they cover most of their bodies from the sun.
The second the TV comes on, everything stops in this house.
When they are not watching TV, they are running around torturing the dogs. Since Inu is losing his sight, he easily gets scared and runs away from Kristin. That doesn’t stop her though.
Its tough work sometimes, but someone has to do it.
Lately the only thing the girls love more then eating are play gyms. For $15 the girls run around in a safe, clean environment for a couple hours and use up all that extra energy they have. This time was at Hokey Pokey in Millennia Walk, near Suntec.
They have a couple of ball pits, plenty of cars to ride on, and toys all over the place.
